CatchApp's Commitment to Protecting Children from Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)
Updated at January 27th, 2025
At CatchApp, we are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all our users. As a dating app, we recognize the importance of ensuring that our platform is free from any form of abuse or exploitation, especially when it comes to vulnerable individuals, such as children. We have implemented the following standards to combat child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on our platform.
Our Zero-Tolerance Policy
CatchApp adheres to a Zero-Tolerance Policy against child sexual abuse and exploitation in any form. We take immediate action against any behavior, content, or communication that may involve or promote CSAE. Any violation of this policy will result in the immediate removal of the offending user(s) from the platform, and where necessary, we will report the matter to the appropriate authorities.
1. Prohibited Content and Activities
CatchApp strictly prohibits the following:
-
Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any content that depicts or describes the sexual abuse, exploitation, or involvement of children, including images, videos, or written descriptions, is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate suspension of the user account and escalation to law enforcement.
-
Grooming and Predatory Behavior: Any attempt by a user to initiate, encourage, or engage in grooming behavior, which refers to the process of preparing a child for sexual abuse, will be swiftly addressed and reported to authorities.
-
Sexualized Conversations with Minors: Any communication that sexualizes or targets minors (under the age of 18) is a direct violation of our guidelines. We monitor and review content to detect and prevent any such activity.
2. Age Verification Process
CatchApp requires all users to be at least 18 years old to use our platform. We verify the age of users during account registration and monitor profiles for compliance. If a user is found to be underage, their account will be immediately suspended and deleted, and appropriate steps will be taken.
3. Reporting Mechanism
We believe that users play a critical role in maintaining a safe community. If you encounter any content or behavior that you believe violates our CSAE standards, we encourage you to report it immediately. We provide a straightforward reporting process where users can flag inappropriate content, behavior, or users for review. All reports are taken seriously and handled promptly.
To report any concerns, you can:
- Use the In-App Reporting Feature: Flag content or a user for review within the app.
- Contact CatchApp Support: Reach out to our support team directly via [email/contact information] for urgent matters.
4. Cooperation with Law Enforcement
CatchApp works closely with law enforcement agencies worldwide to ensure that any illegal activities related to child sexual abuse and exploitation are reported and properly addressed. We are committed to providing all necessary data and evidence to aid in investigations and legal proceedings as required by law.
